Beautiful Seiko Chariot Watch Reference 6030-5190 with Tank-Esque Case and gold-tone dial with Roman Numerals from 1980.
In the 80s Seiko started producing watches greatly influences on european / swiss models. In Japan around that time, succesful and modern Japanese were very interested and "hyped" around all things Western like French Bakeries and Pastries, American Clothes and French/Swiss looking watches.
For a long time Seiko's "Cartier" Models were not in demand but with rectangular cases coming back in fashion, these models are getting more sought-after the last couple years.
This comes in a beautiful shaped tank-esque SGP Case. This is a JDM model (Japanese Domestic Market Model) just for the Japanese Market. It's paired with a black lizard-grain leather strap with gold-tone buckle.
Watch has received a new battery and is cleaned. It works perfectly.
This is model CFS954 costing ¥38000 yen in 1980.
