Packaging

The last think you as a buyer or me as a seller wants, is that a watch gets broken during transport and needs to be returned or repaired. That's why I believe good, proper packaging is important!

Our packaging proces is as follows;

1. Ziplock bag. To avoid water damage, we place the watch in a ziplock bag that is waterproof
2. We then wrap it in bubble plastic
3. Depending on the size, we squeeze the watch withing air cushions to make sure it can't move, or use enough bubble plastic
4. We fill the box with old newspapers. Old newspapers are free, so we can keep packaging costs low, and it is better than throwing them away!
5. We place the watch with bubble plastic and air cushions in the box, and make sure it can't move on any sides
6. We cover it up from the top with more old newspaper, so you can't see what's it it.
7. The invoice is placed on top and then the carton box is closed with tape.

We also use standard brown carton 20x20x18 boxes. One could say this is unecessarily big, but I believe smaller packages get easier stolen or lost during transit.

We also ship our watches unsigned, so no WatchEra Logo's, brand name or otherwise referring to the contents of the package except on the label for the return address.

This is also deliberate, the package has to look boring and not interesting, so the chances on it getting stolen are as low as possible.

Following this method, my last 200+ packages arrived at customers all over Europe.
