Vintage Seiko Spirit 7N43-7180 "Snowflake" 2008 horloge
Seiko bleef in de jaren negentig opmerkelijk, vooral vanwege hun wijzerplaatontwerpen, die ronduit schitterend waren.
Dit vintage Seiko horloge , met een prachtige " sneeuwvlok " wijzerplaat, is een goed voorbeeld.
Het is de referentie 7N43-7180 , een JDM (Japanse binnenlandse markt) model uit 2008. Toen de 7N48 stopte met de productie, stopte de 7N48-7000 snowflake ook, maar vanwege zijn populariteit werd hij in principe 1:1 nieuw leven ingeblazen met het verbeterde uurwerk
Het gaat specifiek om de SCDC001 uit de catalogus van 2007 , oorspronkelijk geprijsd op 20.000 yen. Het horloge is beoordeeld op 5 ATM waterbestendigheid, maar ik zou het niet aanraden om het te gebruiken om te zwemmen of duiken, gezien de leeftijd.
In september 2024 is er een nieuwe batterij geplaatst en zijn zowel het horloge, de kast als de band ultrasoon gereinigd, waardoor ze weer zo goed als nieuw zijn.
De tijd verstelt zich soepel en de snelverstelfunctie voor dag en datum werkt perfect via de kroon.
De kast en het glas zijn in goede staat, maar ik weet niet wat er met de armband is gebeurd! De vorige eigenaar heeft hem verprutst! Hij zit niet strak en is zwaar versleten. Ik heb de schakels licht gepolijst en de sluiting helemaal opnieuw afgewerkt.

I do stand behind the quality of the watches that I sell and therefor offer a 3 month warranty on the movement.
At WatchEra - every watch that hits the store is checked by myself personally or by one of the watchmakers I work with.
However - most watches sold are used, vintage and sometimes very old wristwatches. Generally speaking I'm not aware of the (service) history or water resistance but will describe the current condition as transparant as possible.
