If we talk about watches that look like they cost a fortune, then this Seiko Lord Matic 5606-7070 can join the conversation because with the fully SGP case and strap, this is an ultimate eye-catcher. The quality of the 5606 movement is also good and the white dial is beautiful. Light sunburst effect, with gold overlaid indices and the LM logo.

This concerns model 56LMW from the 1974 Catalog for a price of 19,500 yen. This is a JDM (Japan Domestic Market Model) made for the Japanese market, so it has Kanji/English day indication. The watch, case and strap have been ultrasonically cleaned and are therefore completely neat again. The watch runs smooth but has a abbreviation of around -100s/day. The quickset day- and date with the crown doesn't function. This is unfortunately something that breaks very often on this caliber, as Seiko used a plastic wheel for this which breaks over time.
