The Seiko 2002 3803 is one of the earliest mass-produced quartz caliber watches and was a top of the line product from the 70's - much more expensive than KS or LM branded (automatic) watches. The 3803 is a beautiful partly mechanical (and serviceable) caliber, in no way to be compared to nowadays quartz movements. This vintage Seiko watch has a beautiful linnen-style dial that has slightly gotten a patina colour compared to the original white it was. Applied indices, baton style hands with lume and kanji/english day with date to top it off. The stainless steel case has mulitple facets and while definetly showing signs of wear it still is in unpolished and original condition. This is a piece of quartz history and a great addition to any vintage or seiko collection.
Note: The watch and caliber runs, but has some stopping issues and therefor doesn't keep great time. Unfortunately, servicing and sourcing parts for the 3803 isn't easy and we couldn't get a better result than this.
